I am passionate about the Kingdom of God and His Body, the Church — both the individual members and local congregations that make up the complete Body. I am a firm believer that with God, all things are possible; and I also believe that His people carry a great responsibility to walk in the good works that He has prepared for us to walk in (Ephesians 2:10). He has given us both authority and responsibility [to represent Him] and, as we submit to His Holy Spirit, we are more than able to live victoriously on earth as we intentionally take the message of the Gospel of the Kingdom and strategically and powerfully advance His glorious Kingdom.
Having had the awesome privilege of being raised in a pastoral and ministerial home, not only did I have the opportunity to accept the Lord at a young age, but I have also had the exposure to various aspects of ministry that were necessary and beneficial to developing the heart and the understanding for genuine and effective ministry. I often joke that I have done just about everything in church except women’s ministry and dance ministry. Over the years, the Lord has allowed me to see, understand, develop, and lead in a variety of ways - including eventually planting and pastoring a local congregation which I had the pleasure of leading for more than ten years. With over thirty years of practical ministry experience and twenty years of teaching [mostly high school English], the Lord has guided and equipped me with developing understanding and skills that are beneficial for successfully leading. I maintain the passion – not only for the Lord and His Kingdom, but also for pastors and local congregations that desire to be and do all that God has designed and called them to do. May this ever be my passion and Goal – His Kingdom come, His will done on earth as it is in Heaven.
